Information Systems Management Option

Requirements

In addition to the General Education and Institute Core Curriculum for a B.A degree, the following courses are required:

ACCT 2110 (3), ACCT 2120 (3), and one course chosen from ACCT 3050 (3), ACCT 3053 (3), and ACCT  3071 (3)

ECON 2110 (3), ECON 2120 (3), and ECON 3063 (3) (may be used to fulfill Area 4 and Area 7 of the General Education Requirement)

MATH 2350 (3)

BFIN 3002 (3)

MGMT 2110 (3), MGMT/IT 3030 (3), MGMT 4003 (3), and MGMT/IT 4062 (3)

One course chosen from CSCI 1220 (4) and CSCI 1210 (4) (CSCI 1220 may be used to fulfill Area 2 of the General Education Requirement) 

One course chosen from COMM 1130 (3) and TCOM 4011 (3) (may be used to fulfill Area 5 of the General Education Requirement)

One course chosen from MATH 1430 and MATH 1510 (may be used to fulfill Area 2 of the General Education Requirement)

One course chosen from ENTR 1110 (3) and BUSA 1110 (3)

One course chosen from from IT 3011 (3) and IT/PHIL 3082 (3)

9 credit hours chosen from MGMT 4031 (3), 4035 (3), 4072 (3), 4076 (3), and 4086 (3)

9 credit hours chosen from CSCI 2222 (3), CSCI 2210 (3), IT 3021 (3), IT 3026 (3), and IT 4063 (3)

6 additional credit hours chosen from 4000-level IT, MGMT, BFIN, and ECON courses.

Additional general elective credits to complete 120 credit hours. Students are recommended to take these electives as part of a minor in a program such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Technical Communication.

Required classes cannot be taken on an S/U basis. B.A. degree must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0.
