Children’s Center

The New Mexico Tech Children’s Center is 5 star accredited and offers full-time and part-time quality and developmentally appropriate education and care for children of New Mexico Tech students and employees, as well as community members. Our staff has an uncompromising commitment to excellence. The Children’s Center equally places a high priority on responsiveness and close working relationships with each child and family. We offer a relaxed and casual setting for children ages 2 through 6 in our two preschool classrooms. The program in these rooms focuses on active learning and social engagement to build appropriate skills and knowledge in young children. We also have after-school care for children attending the public schools in grades kindergarten through fourth grades. We also have an infant care program for babies starting 6 weeks old. Our center is open year-round, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of New Mexico Tech holidays/closures.
