M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering

1. Graduates of the Civil and Environmental Engineering MS Program will be able to: Assess various infrastructure issues associated with planning and development of the urban and natural environment and their accompanying social impacts

2. Synthesize technical knowledge of engineering analysis and design to identify, formulate, and solve traditional or emerging problems of professional interest and importance by selecting and applying appropriate tools and techniques

3. Specify or design an experiment to meet a need, conduct the experiment, and analyze and explain the resulting data

4. Demonstrate the technical and communication skills needed to be successful in their professional practice, both in writing and through oral presentations
