B.S. in Chemistry

Minimum credit hours required—124

In addition to the General Education and Institute Core Curriculum Requirements, requirements include the courses listed for the Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (only 6 credit hours of electives required) and the following courses:

•  CHEM 4022 and CHEM 4022L plus 

•  Eight (8) credit hours from the following: CHEM 4031, 4032, or 4033; BIOL 3043, 3044, 4046, and 4055; GEOL 1170, 130L, 140, 140L, 200, 201, 202, 3040, 3090, and 4005

•  In addition to the above requirements, strongly recommended courses include: CHEM 3043; one or more of MATH 2420, 283, 3035; and one or more of MGT 3030, 4062, 4076

•  Six (6) credit hours from the following: CHEM 4047; BIOL 3011, 3031, 3033, 3041, 3043, 3051, 3052, 4011, 4031, 4035, 4037, 4071, 4086, 4087, and 4088; ChE 4076; and any associated laboratory courses

•  In addition to the above requirements, strongly recommended courses include: CHEM 3043; one or more of MATH 2420, 3083, 3035; and one or more of MGT 3030, 4062, 4076
