Program Outcomes

Students will learn the fundamentals of scientific inquiry in a breadth of disciplines.

Students will develop critical thinking and quantitative skills for competence in scientific reasoning.

Students will communicate with different audiences using multiple formats.

Students will apply professional values and ethics to their role as a member of a culturally diverse society.

Students will explore connections between non-STEM disciplines (e.g., the humanities and arts) and the sciences, including commonalities of inquiry.

Students will understand at least one discipline in enough depth to teach others.
