Program Description

Qualified undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Accelerated Master’s Program in Chemistry. In fulfillment of the requirements for both B.S and M.S. degrees, as outlined in their respective sections, accepted students may apply nine (9) credits of 5000-Level courses to both degrees.

Program Information & Policies

The M.S. degree requires completion of a master’s thesis. A portion of the master’s project may be presented to fulfill the undergraduate senior thesis requirement; however, the master’s thesis must go substantially beyond the senior thesis work.  The suitability of the proposed master’s level research will be evaluated by the student’s graduate advisory committee.
