Minimum Degree Requirements 120 credits
The Bachelor of Arts in Biology provides a rigorous and broad education in Biology and supporting sciences, and captures the social and ethical implications pertinent to today’s world view. Graduates of this program are well positioned to pursue careers at the interface of Biology and other disciplines, including in such varied areas as patent law, science communication, and secondary education, as well as postgraduate studies.
Program Learning Outcomes: Graduates will be able to
●Understand, critically evaluate, and communicate information related to Biology
●Use the scientific method to collect and analyze quantitative data
● Articulate the ethical implications of biological research and its impact on society
No more than 4 PHED, ARTS or MUS ensemble credits may be applied toward the degree.
