Course Description

Prerequisites: Graduate Standing or consent of Instructor. It reviews a worldwide policy movement emerging in response to the increasingly complex problems of the decision in the modern era. In the United States, the movement takes various institutional forms, including think tanks, offices of planning and evaluation, and university-based programs in public policy. This program integrates several fields of knowledge to improve policy decisions: integrate knowledge about policy decision and decision process from any discipline or other sources into the understanding of the policysciences, and become professional in the sense of one who has acquired knowledge and skills critical to society and accepts responsibility to use them in the common interest.
